Jon Peter Lewis, or JPL as his fans call him, entertained international audiences with his easy-going personality, his infamous "dance" moves and above it all, his voice in the 2004 season of American Idol. Rolling Stone Magazine quoted Simon Cowell, referring to him as "The dark horse to win the competition..." and chose him as their favorite to do so. After the 70,000 plus auditioners he was America's choice in the Wild Card round of the 2004 season. JPL is recording his first album at the Jim Henson Recording Studios (once the Charlie Chaplin Studios) where Jane's Addiction, No Doubt, the Eagles, David Lee Roth and many other Grammy winning artists have recorded.
