I just want to thank everyone for viewing my website and more importantly listening to the tracks I have posted. I actually started this site as part of my goal for playing with other musician's and hopefully starting a blues band this year. I never thought I'd make any chart on this website, much less the Top 10. Thanks to everyone for making me, at this point #4, and please, feel free to listen and download the tracks. Thank you all!

To be honest, I didn't think it would happen. I really just started this as part of my goal for playing out or starting a band this year and 200 plays is a minor milestone for me. So thanks, and even thought there are no comments, I appreciate it!

Hello again! I've had a couple of requests to "remix" the original Gimmie Gimmie Blues track since the rhythm section was hard to hear. I was able to do it rather quickly tonight so take a listen to the improved track. Hope you enjoy and feel free to comment!

Well, its the New Year and I've decided that I'd like to start playing with other musicians or start a band. I really feel like the only way I'm going to get better is to do so. I've also found that recording is a good way to improve as well so I will use this site to upload some songs and jams that I've done in my "man room". Right now the recordings are a bit rough since I don't have the equipment I need to achieve better sound quality. All songs were recorded with a Sony Condenser ECM-DS70P mic and a Sony MiniDisc MZ-R700. Software used to convert to mp3 was Cool Edit 2.0. I'll also use the site to post some of the photographs I've taken and some pics of some of my favorite musicians. Now for the details on the recordings.
Feel Like Goin' Home
I recorded this one in the bathroom at my old apartment. This was the first and only take and I thought it came out pretty good considering the equipment. I actually performed this song last summer for Capital City Opera's "Songs of the South" performed at Callanwolde Fine Arts Center here in Atlanta.
Gimmie Gimmie Blues
This is a backing track provided a fellow member at tdpr.com. Its a great blues track with just drums and upright bass. I had played through the track only once previously and this was second run through but the only recording. Here are the details.
Guitar: Epiphone Casino [Neck Pickup]
Effects: Fulltone OCD [Vol. 8:50, Tone 12:00, Drive 8:00, LP mode]
Amp: Epiphone Valve Jr Head [Vol. 12:00]
Cab: 2x10 Hartke bass cab loaded with Eminence Ramods
Thanks for checking out the site and your comments are welcome.

Hey Jonathan, I listened and it's awsome! You are
way to modest. You should post more of you stuff. I
can't wait to hear what else you have been keeping to
yourself. I look forward to listening to more of your
music. Abby
