Any good story starts at the beginning. An introduction, a set up. A here's how it came to be. A couple in their early 30s received a call from an adoption agency in Philadelphia on an early October morning, informing them that 2 twin brothers were up for adoption with a musical prehistory. This came by request from twins Dan and Andrew's biological mother to be placed with parents who are both musicians. They are the grandchildren of jazz great Charlie Parker. Its easy to say that music started at a very early age for Dan and Andrew Sinkler, who grew up playing together. After 3 do it yourself tours and countless shows in the north eastern section of the country, including such places as CBGB's and The Trocadero, they decided it was time for a change. Fast forward and change coasts, and you have Johnny One Match: a pop/ rock/ alternitive band made up of a couple guys who met at Musicians Institute in Hollywood CA. In comes Hector Palacios on bass and Josh Powers on guitar, both with years of experience playing in various bands. In 2010, Johnny One Match spent the year writing and recording their debut album "Connection" with Mike Glines (Green Day, Ben Harper, Rod Stewart). Some might call it fate, and some might say this is just the way things were meant to be, but the members of Johnny One Match found each other in Los Angeles and haven't looked back since. With a tireless work ethic and dedication to their love of music, Johnny One Match knows that the sky's the limit.
