Letter Never Sent: Recordings 1989-2006

Periodically I sift through my archives with the intention of making everything Ive ever recorded available for those whove kindly supported my music through the years. Nostalgia can be a very guilty pleasure, and I have usually shelved the idea in favor of newer songs and projects. This collection takes one song from each significant session Ive done under my own name (except for #18, which was born from my musical collaboration with Mike Garrigan and John Plymale called Kickball). Some were taken seriously and recorded with meticulous attention to detail; others were dashed off haphazardly during inspired moments. The recording process, equipment, instrumentation, and personnel are different for each of these. The only common thread is that I wrote and sang each of these songs.
