I want to let you know about a supra-awesome event that is happening at Rutgers University on 4/12/08 called ReSound 2008.
It is a FREE concert featuring my favorite band Starfield and another band with Phil Wickham.
Tickets are selling out quick, but please if you are interested and want to go, you MUST register for a ticket.

so on tuesday 4/3/2007, some friends and i took a trip to NYU to go to a starfield/kccc benefit concert... oh man.. it was so good... not just that starfield is an all in all very good band (yeh.. my favorite worship band)... not just that all their songs each have a purpose and a specific meaning concerning one's spiritual walk... but the fact that i learned so much on the other spectrum of worship and was able to really just let myself loose in worship... as tim neufeld would say - "you're not singing to us, and we're not singing to you, we're singing to God, our Creator".. for so long, worship has always been somewhat restrained, especially when it would be just going to church and singing songs, but then looking at others who were singing with less passion... but that night.. man it was just so good to let go for a few hours into a heart of worship with others with the same focus, mindset, and anticipation.. one of reflection and joy... man.. can't imagine what heaven would be like if that night was great.
