It all started in March of 2004 from the ashes of a band called 8 balls minus 2. After the band went their separate ways, bassist/vocalist Joe Craig decided that it was time to take control of his musical future. He had the experience of playing out with such bands as Arion, Silent Whisper, Phantasm, Time to Think, and 8 balls minus 2 plus he put out 3 CD’s on his own which were getting tremendous response via the internet. But with all that Joe realized that he couldn’t do this alone, he needed some help.

One day while surfing the Internet and he came across an ad for a bass player looking to collaborate with other musicians. Joe responded to it and a couple days later he met up with Stephanie Smith. Stephanie has played with various musicians throughout the Scranton area but when the two started writing originals together, the chemistry clicked almost instantly. The bass lines that Stephanie was putting to some of the ideas Joe was thinking of gave the songs emotion and feeling. The two realized that this could be the beginning of a band with major potential.

Joe and Steph kept looking for other musicians that would fit nicely into this project. The search went on until one day Joe ran into an old friend from long ago, guitarist Mike Gauhan. Mike was a high school friend of Joe’s as well as a band mate when they used to be in Arion together. Mike’s lead guitar work and songwriting ability made Arion one of the best original bands in Northeastern PA back in the mid to late 1980’s. Now they’ve figured that it’s time to reunite and take back the music scene that was once theirs.

Now that the band was taking shape, they needed the final piece to the puzzle, a solid, hard-hitting drummer. Once again Joe was surfing the Internet and came across an ad for a drummer that was available. It was another old friend of Joe’s named Jim West. Jim used to play drums for Time to Think along with a list of other local bands. Jim brings to the table a solid and strong backbeat to this project as well as songwriting talent, which this band is already loaded with. Now it was complete, Jjc was starting to become a reality.

Now with a killer set list of classic rock, modern rock and original material, these 4 excellent musicians from the Scranton / Wilkes-Barre area are ready to take on any music scene in the state of Pennsylvania and beyond. With the talent, showmanship and songwriting ability that these 4 musicians have, it’s going to be VERY difficult to hold these guys back.
