Closing the distance

This song is simple and complicated. It is sort of a note to those who are "making it", who leave guys like me behind to languish with no plays on pure volume..but it is also a song that tries explain why a guy like me would even do this. I hope you like the harmonies. The heavy filtering is for fun and reminds me of the crappy amps we used at my friend darryl's house in the 80's.\\ As my friend Herm wuld say. Art is it. No need for explanation man. Peace. jimmy. read more

After a conversation with a friend about his eyesight I got this idea. I hope that this hasn't already been done .....but here it is. Deep right? Hee hee jimmy. read more

Four Green Fields

Just booked a trip to Ireland for next August and was inspired to sing a song from my youth. I am a trained Irish piano accordianist and have many dancers in my family. I was raised in a NYC suburb but am the son of two Irish immigrants. This is a powerful song when you think of it in relation to current conflicts around the world. I hope you like the song. Peace. jimmy. read more
