Jim Gaven is a 23 year old singer/songwriter from Hamilton, NJ who has been penetrating the local and eastern regional music scene for the past 5 years. His unique blend of acoustic guitar aside soulfoul piano and vocal melodies has lead him to reach over 500,000 plays on myspace in 3 years. With 7 CD's (5 full-length's and 2 EP's) under his belt and having performed at over 400 events, the future looks bright for this aspiring musician. PMT in The Big Takeover!!

Hey guys, just wanted to let you all know that Postmark Twain are included in one of two issues put out every year by a pretty big music magazine, The Big Takeover. A music critic/reviewer by the name of Brad Harvey had this to say about us. It is pretty sweet. You can get a copy of it at most Barnes N' Noble's now!! The Shins are on the front of this issue, and it's on page 190, and again, the reviewers name is Brad Harvey:

"Serving up 20-something angst better than The OC, this Hamilton, NJ duo sports a spry pop radio sense reminiscent of Duncan Sheik -- any of these five tunes would sound great emanating from a college dorm. (postmarktwain.com)"

Also, here's what he had to say about some other artists in this issue:

NEW 3 SONG STREAM UP ON MYSPACE!!

That's right guys, i just recorded a 3 song track with talking in between that i was going to post as a blogcast, but something didn't work out the right way, but i wanted to share it with all of you. Things have been going crazy lately with Postmark Twain, and we could really use your help by checking out www.purevolume.com/postmarktwain and/or www.myspace.com/postmarktwain and listening to/downloading all the songs if you'd like, and to tell anyone you want about us. We really want to get the word out and are very appreciative of the help we've received already. Let's keep that going for as long as we can.
