Hey guys, Some of you might notice that we've added some pretty graphic banners on what's going on right now in the world of illegal hunting and trade of animals. We've always been big big supporters of the issue and we just want try and make the situation known to those who aren't aware of what's happening in certain area's of the world. I'll sum it up real quick for those who aren't familiar with what's goin on and are interested in finding out. Basically, both Tiger and Shark populations have dropped 96% in the past decade due to illegal hunting and fishing. Tiger parts are sold on the black market in certain countries and used in certain pharmacutical medicines. The Shark fin industry is a billion dollar industry and 100 million sharks are being killed each year for their fins. Fins are considered a delecacy in some cultures and are used for Shark Fin soup. Sharks play the most important role when it comes to balancing the oceans ecosystems, which also effects the ecosystems on land (and us, humans). It's Simple, Tigers and Sharks and on the verge of mass extinction, and we can't let that happen. There are many more species that are endangered for similar reasons. Tigers and Sharks were the only two mentioned here because it hits home with both Danny T and Dano in our band. It's tough to see footage or pictures of what some people might do to your favourite animal.
