December 25
For me, music has always been an escape. Whether it be listening to music, creating it or playing it, music has provided me a sort of release. It is a passion that I hope to share with everyone that comes into contact with my music. If I can leave one person with a tune stuck in their head or a lyric that keeps their mind churning or a message that touches their heart, then I am satisfied. Help me share my passion. Share the songs with your family and your friends. If you like what you hear, purchase an EP. Profits go to various charities, and this summer we were able to raise $500 for Kids Cancer-Vive, a charitable fund that supports children diagnosed with cancer and their families in southeastern Connecticut.
The music industry today has become a stage show. Together we can help get music back to its roots. Instead of idolizing artists glamorized more for dynamic sound effects and fancy stage spectacles and carefully scrutinizing the callous mistakes they make in their personal lives, we should focus on what the songs are saying. What are we teaching our children, but more importantly, what difference are those songs making in the world. John Mayer said that we're waiting on the world to change. I believe the world is changing. But its up to us to choose which direction. Music is my release. Whatever yours is, make it mean something.
Happy Holidays
