Too often we misunderstand things around us. Our misconceptions of often mislead us, making things harder than they need to be. But isn't that another misconception? That our lives should be free of strife and pain. How much time to we waste trying to avoid the slightest bit of pain? only to end up causing more grief and hurt because we didn't learn something valuable by just accepting the original pain in the first place. Why are we so slow to learn, why must every lesson be learned the hard way? Oh G-d! Must the fire be so close, must I be singed before I remember your warning. Yet time and again you pull me back from the brink. I'll never be deserving of such concern. that only makes you more endearing to me. But my rant is over now.
