Press Release for beautiful & analogue pop The brand new single and forthcoming album from pop duo Jekyll and hyde 2011

Finally after four years away, the twins of electropop ride again. This time around, former retro electro duo Jekyll and hyde don’t disappoint in delivering the goods, only this time, they might actually be accused of managing to pen a more robust commercial pop tune which is far less indulgent than their earlier works. Compared to their earlier works from their last album release evolver in 2006, this time sees them evolving into a fully fledged pop act, indeed there are some real potential chart hits on their forthcoming album entitled ‘analogue pop’, and does exactly what it says on the tin. With all the negativity that’s currently going on in the world, we set out to create an honest beauty and innocence within our new single beautiful which we hope will translate to and elevate the spirit of our listeners in the same way as it has ourselves making it; we made sure that that the heart felt sentiment behind the lyrics could be adopted generically by everyone, yet are still ultra personal and unique to the person or people they are intended for. We would love to think that everyone has or knows someone who they can dedicate the words of beautiful to, someone who is uniquely precious to them personally, who is as beautiful on the outside as their heart and soul radiates from the inside, a bit like a diamond in a spotlight, hence we felt that beautiful was the natural and obvious choice as the title for our new single. Sure it’s melancholy, but hey, if there’s no money left to make the world go ‘round, maybe love can at least keep us feeling alive ‘till the tide turns!
