Members: Jason Knight

Jason Knight is not your typical singer/songwriter in today’s trending media. With musicians only focused on the fast track to fame, Jason has taken the time to compose unique and powerful songs that create a portrait of who he really is. Part of this picture includes his unbreakable bond to his musical family and church. Growing up surrounded by music lit a spark inside Jason and created in him a strong desire to write music as well. Despite letdowns many musicians face, Jason has persevered to show his dedication and willingness to reach new heights within his music career. From the small town of Mt. Airy, Maryland, at age 25, Jason Knight is beginning to make a name for himself. Through an array of alternative music, touching acoustic sets, and personalized covers he hits an incomparable yet relatable tone many love to listen to. Passionate vocals teamed with heartfelt lyrics help to pave the way for listeners as Jason readily shares the story of his life experiences in a way he hopes will guide people in the direction of Hope and Love.

With the recent release of his debut acoustic EP “From There to Here”, Jason is taking his first steps to begin the newest phase of his vision. In the pursuit to kick-start the album he performed a CD release concert which has only driven his ambitions and confirmed this is the right journey for him. He is currently booking additional shows to endorse this album and his previous works to those willing to listen and take a chance on who he is. Through promotion he is hoping to raise the money to begin a tour and make a reality of his dreams by getting his music out into the world. Jason is also focused on heading back into the studio to produce his first full length album starting with a single release.

Although Jason has done solo projects for some time, he is not unfamiliar with sharing a stage and having a full band performing alongside him. In this newest stage of his career, he has formed a band to collaborate his vocals and typically acoustic songs with the edge of electric guitars, bass, and drums. Josh Knight (electric guitar) and Kenny King (drums) are relatives of Jason and only echo the musical inspiration existing within his family. Chris Perry (bass) and Taylor Bishop (electric guitar/vocals) contribute remarkable abilities to the band and have been close friends with Jason and included in his endeavors for the past few years. Together they are all very familiar with one another’s style and not only genuinely enjoy playing together but share the same goals for the future.

The current undertaking of the debut EP is just the starting point to the long term plan of sharing his music. Jason is ready and willing to go wherever this plan may take him and his fellow band members. He will continue to lay his soul out for all to see in hopes it can touch the hearts of even a few listeners. “This is our moment, our now, our chance to shine,” reminds this emerging and dedicated artist to look toward the future and whatever it will bring.
