so i played rushville tonight and got to see my good friend (and half-dad) Tommy Lee. thanks alot for setting everything up tom and i hope to see you again soon!
i'd also like to thank Melanie, who bought us a hotel room in Pittsburgh, which was super nice of her! her generosity sparked something inside of mean leading me to purchase a room for last night as well. i really enjoy doing the hotel thing every now and then. it is its own experience and always a good time. we're getting ready to take the drive to St. Louis for the show tonight, which i'm looking forward to. only a week left to go on the tour and so far it really has been a lot of fun. it's been a completely different experience from previous tours and i'm really enjoying being out playing again.

so we stayed at some people's house last night (which was legit) but awoke to a 900 pound woman yelling at us to get out of the house. apparently no one was supposed to be staying at the house, which is something we weren't told. after exchanging words we grabbed our stuff and headed on our way to pittsburgh, where we are now sitting in a panera bread enjoying the loveliness that is wi-fi. last night's show was the biggest on the tour and it was a lot of fun. plus i got my new shirts and i'm SUPER stoked on how they turned out! well, i've gotta head to load out. tootles. dane

i'm sitting in berwyn, il right now (outside of chicago) at the 2nd stop of the tour with Swimming With Dolphins. so far so good! shows have been fun, and the dudes from SWD are LEGIT so that makes things a lot better. looking forward to what the future dates will bring! i almost stopped at a cheese factory today but we didn't have enough time and i became sad. are you sad? hopefully not. if you are, eat cheese and you won't be. have a great day/night. dane
