Native Chicagoan and current Nashville resident James Farrell is your typical singer/songwriter: He's hyper-sensitive, prone to heartache and one bill away from living in his parentsâ basement. Always one to wear his heart on his sleeve, James became a songwriter at a young age when his friends and family grew tired of listening to his relationship woes. Through music, James discovered that people were more likely to lend him an ear if he provided them with a melody.
This is most evident on his debut EP, Moment of Closure. In his songs about love, loss, regret, sin and repentance, James expresses what we all think about in the shower but are too afraid to talk about once weâve toweled off. He sings a simple message, in simple language, for a simple purpose: to get it off of his chest, and allow his listeners to do the same.
James Farrellâs EP, Moment of Closure, is available at most online music retailers and at www.jamesfarrellmusic.com
