JAKE THE FLYING RAKE'S NITROGEN BAND

Jake the Flying Rake has music that changes with every stanza and just spits crazy unexpected notes and chords and lyrics in your face with no apologies.
They're a five piece indie rock group from Newark, Delaware. The debut album, Muster up all your strength, and punch awkward in the face!, was released in January of 2006. It was an EP, and the full length version of the album is due for release sometime in the spring.
Jake the Flying Rake has made numerous stage appearences, having played with a number of bands including Goes Cube (New York), ChaseHer (Delaware), Not Alone (Philly). They've also shared the stage with Wilmington's The Sky Drops and the indie rock sensations National Eye (Philly) and The Capitol Years (Philly).
