Jacket Weather formed in about 2000 under the name "The Standstill" by four friends doing what they love. They played many shows in the Provo/Salt Lake area, and eventually released a long-awaited demo/ep before going on a 3 year indefinite hiatus.

Now they've rejoined and revived, played old songs and writing new songs, all under the influence of the late 90s midwest indie/post-hardcore sound. Robbie stopped playing guitar for the band officially for interest reasons, and was replaced by Davey recently.
