We started this record in Lindsey's parents' basement after regrouping and re-evaluating our band. We started writing. We decided to do this with only one guitarist now and with a different sound completely. After a month we moved from the woods of Western Coventry, where we've always been, to Cranston. Our space was mice-ridden, cold, and in a sketchy area but we loved it. We were there every night writing. After signing on with a producer things got hectic. Our already busy schedule was consumed with writing, rewriting, getting the kinks out, trying new ideas, and so on. In February, our producer and us decided it was time and on the 11th we left for Detroit. We lived out there for two weeks writing and recording the entire time. We had worked with producers in the past but never had an experience like this. We are more proud of this record than of anything we have ever done in the past. It is the culmination of five months of constant work. It is us going broke to make it. It is us getting snowed in our van for a night in 20 degree weather in central Pennsylvania to record it. It is everything we ever wanted and more and we cannot wait to show it to you.
