ION (CANADA)

ION are a 5 piece Christian band from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.
They have recorded a debut cd "Positive", and have sold over 700 copies of the debut.
The cd was recorded by ION from October 2005-April 2006, and was released in May of 2006.
Sonically ION is a mix of late 80's U2 with more emphasis on vocal harmonies (three lead singers).
As of Jamuary 2007 ION is writing and rehearsing for the new cd which they hope to have finished in time for Christmas 2007. The songs are taking on a more upbeat feel than the debut, however still retaining ION's signature melodies and harmonies. The working title for the second cd is "Return To Sender".
