Well, It has certainly been quite some time since the Battle of the Bands last October, so we are overdue for an update on the recent, and the not quite as recent activities of Internal Reflection. Soon after the Battle subsided, Internal Reflection played at a local early Christmas party, and then started preparing for a New Years show at Asbury United Methodist Church. We played most of our original compositions as well as our tried and true covers such as Jumping Jack Flash by the Rolling Stones and our Introduction version of Cant Turn You Loose by Otis Redding as preformed in The Blues Brothers. We also learned all the intricate parts of Edgar Winters Frankenstein in which we revealed our secret weapon The Keytar.

We then auditioned for, and played at Leesvilles Winterfest Assembly. We dedicated our performance of The James Bond Theme to the Leesville Class of double oh seven. Afterward, as students were filing out we played our signature Jumping Jack Flash extended ending jam version as a kind of classic rock recessional. A live recording of The James Bond Theme is available on our MySpace page at www.myspace.com/internalreflection

While our recent performance was still fresh in the minds of Leesville students, we decided to try another school oriented show, so we signed up for the Leesville Talent Show, hosted by Leesvilles Africentric Club. While laughing at our jokes about playing Play That Funky Music By Wild Cherry, we set out learning Rock the Casbah by The Clash. Performing a song about the repression of a type of musical expression brings a new level performing music. It made us think about what Internal Reflection would be like if we were not allowed to play music.

Nowadays Internal Reflection is jamming as much as we can as we prepare to disband for college. We all want to continue to Jam together during breaks, but the glory days are coming to an end. We all look back at the past couple of years with nothing but fond memories that we will never forget. We would like to thank our fans, and everyone who has listened to our music or been to one of our shows.

Robert, Brian, and Siarhei will all be attending North Carolina State University. Robert will be studying Aerospace Engineering, Brian will be studying Paper Science and Engineering, and Siarhei will be going into the Computer Science program. Matt will be attending Appalachian State University and will be studying Business. Finally, Andrew will be attending The University of North Carolina at Asheville where he will major in Music Technology.

Thanks again to all our fans that have supported us in our musical endeavors.
