Insomnia is a musical Project Developed by Diego Gutierrez.
The intention of the music itself is to be direct and simple as the music and melodies comes from the composers mind, with simple 90s guitar riffs, deep melodies on the bass guitar and some interesting rhythms on drums. The style can be named as Alternative Metal because of the Dark influences, and hardness of the Grunge stylized distortion, and the melodic voice adds a plenty atmosphere without noisy screams.
Insomnia started as a solo project developed by Diego Gutirrez, who was interested in a hard, melodic and simple feeling in his music with 90s influences. After his third song, a lot of opinions where high in proportion of the expectations of the project, so he decides to materialize it into a band, he talks with Miguel Maria who starts exploring immediately the concept. Then both of them contact with Francisco Duran that heard about the project and he wanted to join and add deep bass progressions. At last Diego told Francisco Lobo to join the project with his style in the drums after several auditions and everything was on march.
