Based in Corvallis, Oregon, In Pursuit Of is an emerging rock band with a strong passion: to bring energy and life to their listeners through passionate rock.

"We don't want to be another band who is just out to play music and try to impress people," says lead vocalist Ian Nelson. "That's not what we're about. We love to play, but we hope those people who hear us will realize we want to connect with them as individuals and be real. Some people have criticized us for being so outspoken about our faith; but when it comes down to it, that's just who we are. We have found so much hope in knowing there is a God who loves us, and we want people to experience that too. If we didn't sing about it, we would be fake."

Formerly known as Triumphant Denial, In Pursuit Of has shared the stage with acts such as Kutless, Falling Up, John Reuben, and A Dream Too Late. In Pursuit Of mixes the sounds of progressive indie rock with Brit influences and digital programming to create intricate songs that can be better understood as anthems. Embedded in the lyrics are questions, challenges, and promises of hope for the listener.
