ink projects an eclectic sound with an incredibly minimalist vision. Hailing out of the midwest, where bleak landscapes and static people overproduce doomtrodden teenangst bands, with wailing (singing, screaming, pukeing.. whathaveyou) ink is an oasis of clarity and indifference. With songs structured more around aesthetics--swirling synths and steaming bass, pulsing melodies and natural vocals, ink seperates itself from the gloomy troubadours of most new music. Don't worry about dying your hair black for this one--ink likes you no matter what your hair.
