In Honor Of is a young hardcore/metal band hailing from California's one and only Bay Area. In a short amount of time they have taken the local seen with a passion that can only be described as brutal. At early point in their career In Honor Of has already shared the stage with other metal acts such as The Autumn Offering (victory records) and Clifton (abacus records). Full of potential, the band has high hopes for the future. A fan once said, Hurry up and write your full length already so you can own the world
Working hard for themselves and the fans, the band has begun the construction of their first full-length album. The release is due to be completed and in stores by March of 2007. To promote the album the band will be focusing on reaching new audiences and performing a broad range of shows. Every member in the group is comfortable with the fact that their music will change as they progress. The first record will be a chance for the band to make a name for itself. As guitarist Sam Rodriguez puts it, This is only the beginning.
At this point in their career, the live show is In Honor Of's strongest attribute. The passion that the band shares as musicians, as well as friends, becomes very apparent during a performance. The band feels that music is the one and only way to express their feelings on life. In Honor Of is all about keeping up the good energy, having fun, and rock n roll. So keep an eye and ear out for the new album and the guys in In Honor Of.
