Hey guys!!

Ryan from In Death We Rise here, it's apparently been about 7 months since there has been an update from us. We've had an extremely tough year with everything that has happened and aside from two of our members having a lawsuit brought against them things are finally looking up!!! We almost called it quits for a little while, we went about six months without a bass player before finding IDWR's newest edition Kevin Smith.

This Sunday we start work on a brand new record!!! FUCKING FINALLY!!! We'll be making our way up to Denver to record at Flatline Audio meaning we will have new tracks all over the internet by the end of this upcoming month!!! Believe me, the new stuff is in a whole new class!

Aside from the recording we're also heading out for a short tour this December so if you live in Oklahoma, Missouri, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, California or Nevada be on the lookout for dates which we will post after we get our last two days secured (one of the aforementioned days is a date in Anaheim with Blood Runs Black).

I'm not sure how many of you guys read this to keep up with us, probably almost none. We appologize for neglecting our pure volume site for so long. As I'm sure some you know things have been pretty rough for us lately. This last January we lost one of our best friends as well as our amazing bass player Kyle. While this has been extremely devistating for all of us, it has also brought more purpose to our lives and music than ever thought possible. We still plan on recording the new full-length in the next couple of months although we have decided going out to New Jersey is not in our best interest. Instead we have opted to record a little closer to home at Flatline Audio in Denver. This means we will be working with the same engineer responsible for the latest Cephalic Carnage album "Anomalies", it also means we will have more time in the studio to craft the kind of album that we want to release.

Don't forget Colorado kids, we have a whole slew of shows coming up right quick!!

We will also be trying to organize some shows to raise money for Kyle's family, they are in desperate need of our love and support. We are committed to doing anything and everything to help them through this rough time. We have a batch of CD's from City of Vanity, Kyle's former band for sale...all of the profits will be donated to help the Watz family.
