Inches Too Short was a punk rock band. They were also a Christian band. If that seems like a contradiction, then you've obviously never heard these guys. The message is as bold and in your face as the music, which ranged from mellow acoustic songs, to Op Ivy-ish ska tunes, to Minor Threat-ish screaming anthems. Thematically, they found the balence between almost retarded goofiness and cynical biting satire. The secret ingredient that made it all fall into place was the timing. Very few bands have ever sucessfully pulled this off, and almost no Christain bands have.
