Hey ladies & gents,

We want to give you a major update on whats been going on with us. As you might know...we recorded a full length album in Atlanta, GA this past winter with John from Trophy Scars. We had full intention of trying to release this record by this summer/fall and tour the country but our plans have changed over the past few months. The first change we had was actually finishing the record with our newest frontman. Although he is a great guy and we love him to death, things werent working as smoothly as we wanted them to. We loved having him as a band member and still to this day, he's one of our best friends, but we had to part ways. We wish Dave all the best, and please send him some love. He's on our top 8.

That being said, Inamere will be taking a short hiatus to regroup and rethink. Finding the right frontman has been the hardest dilemma this band has had to deal with. As we grow as musicians and a band, we've realized it takes full dedication and the right frontman, most of all, to either make or break the band.

If you are at all interested or know someone who might be, we are holding open tryouts at our studio in Northern NJ. You can contact us on myspace or email us at: inamereband@yahoo.com

Thanks so much,

Ryan, Ross, Mikey, & The Baker

INAMERE, of Morristown, New Jersey, is ripping up the rulebook on the indie front.

Formed in November of 2005, the band began with guitarist Chris Keown, bassist Ryan Hayes, drummer Ross Dillon and shortly after added guitarist Mikey Vasilik. In late 2007 lead vocalist James Kelly was replaced with Dave Dotero. Characterized by their catchy choruses, INAMERE best identifies with the rock genre, though they boast a broad spectrum of influences including Eddie Vetter, The Beatles, David Bowie, Motley Crue, Nirvana, U2, The Police, Incubus, The Bee Gees, and Blink 182.

Shortly after the completion of the band lineup, Ross appeared for the first time on FUSE TV hosting Spring Broke 06 with Daily Download VJ Marianella. The success of the show triggered a few cameos in Tattoo Stories, FUSE F-Ups , and Amplified Guide To Summer. INAMERE's first single, I Stare, was featured on the compilation album Battery 173 alongside bands such as the Unsung Zeroes and All That's Left. "Hit the Floor" is also exclusively featured on Punk The Clock's V3 with Jack's Mannequin, the Matches, Say Anything and The Almost.

The brevity of time together, they were already topping purevolume.com's unsigned charts. Mid-June marked the release of Pick Your Poison - INAMERE's debut album, mastered by Joe Gastwirt (The Used, Story of the Year). To date more than five hundred of the first pressing of 1000 units have already been sold in three months. Their summer East Coast/ Canadian tour included Edgefest in Toronto, Canada, supporting the All American Rejects and Yellowcard followed by Warped Tour '06 and '07 where INAMERE played the Kevin Says/Hot Topic Stage. In 2007 they also played North by Northeast in Toronto and continued to play numerous local NJ shows building and maintaining core, solid mid-Atlantic fan base. As the year 2008 begins, INAMERE is in the middle of the writing process preparing to record a full-length album with John Ferrara of Trophy Scars.

The driven, dedicated musicians of INAMERE aspire to tour the world, supporting themselves doing what they love - writing, recording, and playing music. INAMERE will not settle, after opening and supporting major headliners with a combination of multi-platinum recording artists Anberlin, Hawthorne Heights, Story of The Year, Bayside and Alexisonfire.

INAMERE is documenting history.
