Im sure by now everyone has heard about our decision. For the past couple weeks we have been trying to figure out the future of this band. Unspeakable events have taken place within our family and we tried to fix this problem however our pleas were taken lightly. This band was more than just five of us making music, it was a representation of who we are. Spending every waking moment together, we saw the downfall of our group slowly taking place. And at the end of all of this a decision was made to not continue on as In Media Res. To see this end so abruptly breaks our heart. This band has been going strong since Halloween of 2002 as Valu Pak. It has been a building block for all of us. We are very proud of what we have accomplished. We are grateful for everyone and anyone who has ever listened to our music, shown up to our shows, befriended us, let us stay at your house, and simply took the time to talk to us. We are forever grateful.

This band helped us grow in many ways as individuals and we are glad that we were able to share that with you. We are also thankful for all the bands that befriended us especially PhazeOne, Clarity, TakeCover, As Blood Runs Black, Orangeburg Massacure, My American Heart, Best Interest, Reason to Breathe, Shenedoah & IRIS.. We love you fuckers. As for the future of the band members, Josh has taken upon himself to pursue other hobbies. Jason and myself (Anthony) feel that it was time to put down our guitars and focus on our education. College life was getting tougher everyday. We have found that there was less and less time to write music let alone play shows. On a side note, college is extremly expensive. It was inevitable that we could not continue. Taylor has decided to continue on with music and will probably be some big ass rock star. Mike is chillin in my room eating my food (thats not going to change). All in all, thank you for the good times, thank you for the memories thank you for everything.
