Formed in the fall of 2004, the groups twist of funk, rock and jazz are enhanced by its second to none stage presence. Illuminate Grooves stage presence and energy is unrivaled, with the audience gasping for more after the show.
The bands groove is centered upon the driving groove of John Paul Peric on the bass and is supplemented by the dynamic and versatile Adam Porreca on the drums. The funky guitar of Anthony Noiosi augments the groove with cunning meticulousness. Add the vocals of Vili Langi with his spiced up 70s disco funk and R&B flavor and you have a funky bowl of sweet chili sauce not to reckoned with!!!!
Illuminate Groove currently writes and records original material with hits such as 'Nothing Left To Do' and 'Look Out' gaining the judges verdicts in the UTS segment of the Jim Beam National Campus Band Competition for 2005. The band has also played at some of Sydneys popular venues such as the Annandale Hotel and the Roxbury Hotel.
What audiences far and wide will see, will make them blind, hence Illuminate Groove will blow more than their minds. The meticulous nature of the band with its fresh sound will astound audiences, period!!!
