In the summer of 2005, Ignorant Misfortune a three piece band out of Powder Springs, Georgia formed. All three members just Seniors in High School!! Heavily influenced by the likes of Nirvana, Foo Fighters, and Sonic Youth, the band is a mix between the grunge and old/modern rock. Playing together for years, Collin Hilton and Stephen Cannon finally added the final piece of the puzzle when Bassist Kris Smith joined. Playing their first gig at a wedding, the band has come a long way in a short time. Now regulars at venues in and around Atlanta, IgnorantMisfortune is now ready to fulfill their dreams and keep on rocking!!! They created a DEMO in the winter of 2006 which consists of 5 songs featuring their hit track titled "Dante De Leon'e" The Demo was released: February 18th 2006. Ignorant Misfortune is currently rapping up their 2006 Paralizer Records EP with Executive Atlanta Producers Cliff Davies and Jason Beaver. Also with help from Reed Beaver, owner of Paralizer Records. The EP is titled Cut N Paste and will be ready in this fall of 2006.
