Born in East New York Brooklyn, life started out rough and although the
odds were stacked against him, his grandmother instilled in him unshakable
faith, a rock solid work ethic, and a love and appreciation for all things,
especially music. He began honing his MC skills at the age of 14 and went
through many changes trying to discover himself musically, starting out as a
DJ, transforming himself to a hip hop artist later known as Philly.Com, finally
ending up as a platinum producer. Bangout’s musical foundation is a mixture
of hip-hop, classic soul/oldies, reggae and 80s pop music. When asked to
describe Bangout’s production style, fellow DJ’s, Producers and emcee’s
begin listing adjectives: “multifaceted, original, innovative, cynical, ambiguous,
dedicated…” After a pause, one concluded, “Ah, forget it. Just banging! Hence
the name “Bangout! Not everyone works on the flow of their musical style
as much as he does. Despite the ease with which he presently executes it,
Bangout’s flow has been a long way coming—arguably since his early teens as a
MC. ”Philly Pitts primarily known by his professional stage name Bangout, is an
All-American record producer, rapper, and record executive.

Philly Pitts is the founder and current CEO of Bangout Music Group. Inc
having produced a plethora of songs for a cross genre clientele and overseeing
the musical production of many rappers signed to major record labels such as
SONY, UNIVERSAL. Bangout started his rise to fame in 2005 with hit singles
from artists including 50 Cents, Lloyd Banks, Missy Elliot, Christina Aguilera,
Avant, Collie Buddz, Maino and Akon to name a few. Within that time, he went
on to win 2 BMI awards and, a Grammy nomination.

sample game? Check. Fire southern tracks? Yup. R&B and Pop hits? Fa' sho!
Country Western tracks He’s got them too “Versatility” is his middle name and
the name of the game for this producer/songwriter, and he's the ultimate beat
chameleon. Eight-time reigning BeatKlub’s Producer’s Champion, capable of
changing his sound on demand to meet the needs of his diverse client list. " As

of artist, do one thing...create one sound. I'm out to change that. I'm bout to raise

Armed with a studio full of equipment, and a lifetime full of music, Bangout is well on his way to erasing the misconception of the hip-hop producer, to write his way in history, as a multifaceted producer. We will be seeing him on the Grammy
stage in the near future.
