At the start of September, Iambient went on indefinite hiatus. MIkey carted his personal belongings to Vermont where he has since embarked upon a mission to Be Warmer Than Vermont Is Most Of The Time; Dani hithchiked to Boston where she's climbed many skyscrapers and endeavored to Make Things Happen. Big Things, Maybe. Or Little Ones.

Mikey likes to Make Things Happen, too.

In any case, the two of us are headed home for the holidays, which just might mean some sporadic Iambimusic -- better & faster & more organic than ever before. OKAY! So it's been awhile and between vacations, schoolwork, reading, writing, pleasuretown, etc. we haven't updated. Here's the thing: we're going to sell a few more copies of WE HAVE SUPER POWERS, and then start recording the new albumthinger. The CD out now is kind of rough, always emotional and real. The new CD will be crinkle-free with a light summery sound. Oh, we've converted to deathmetal.

Mikey and I, after hours of gathering the necessary resources, managed to transform my bedroom into a makeshift recording studio. While Mr. Malloy will still be our primary sound engineer, this will give us the ability to figure some stuff out on our own which is, of course, the best feeling.

In other news, my dad (being the unarguable patron that he is) imparted me with his rock-worn (white!) Fender Strat. With a few wires, some amplification, and Mikeys own Squire, Iambient is going a little electric.

We finished up recording this weekend with Mr. Jim Malloy and finally have a pretty full length album! To anyone who requested an EP and never recieved, don't worry! You will now all have a full CD within the next couple of days. We are both truely proud of what came out of our fingers and mouths. We love you.
