I Am the Alpha and the Omega: He is the beginning and the end. This simple statement is what can be found at the heart of this five-member project from rural New Jersey. Formed in 2003, this project has strived to create music that portrays a sincere faith through honest lyrics against a backdrop of rich, unique melodies. I Am Alpha and Omega plays with passion, purpose, and a goal to get the message of their songs heard. The release of the bands upcoming EP, Georgia May, is the result of months of hard work and is a true portrayal of the bands arduous journey to self-discovery and hope. The EP tells a story of brokenness, regret, and in the very end, faith. The band has traveled a rocky road, and their songs are a haunting, transparent account of the courage it takes to find hope in the face of suffering. With each listen, you will discover the raw emotion that drives IAAAO. Today the band is working hard every day to build a live show that truly represents the message set forth on Georgia May. Through playing numerous shows at local venues such as Brenda and Jerrys and The Aquifer, as well as sharing the stage with bands such as Becoming the Archetype (Solidstate Records) the band has built a loyal following and is poised to take the national market by storm.
