When you think of the band Hydrosonics live performance, two words automatically come into mind captivating and amazing. Although the core of the band has been together since high school, it has not been until recently in which they have started to gain recognition not only on the local aspect but nationally.

Hydrosonic was actually born in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida where Scott, Matt, and Jesse attended high school together. After several years of playing in South Florida, the band decided that relocating to Orlando was the necessary step in order to further their musical endeavors. With Central Floridas thriving music scene, Scott, Matt, and Jesse were introduced to Ian and Anthony, securing the two open spots. From this moment on there would be no question in doubt that the five musicians created a band which would become anything less than astonishing. The intriguing combination of earlier inspirations those are reminiscent to 311, Aerosmith, and Story of the Year along with todays influences including My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, Coheed and Cambria, Taking Back Sunday, and Anberlin. It is no wonder that Hydrosonic has created a sound that is unique to todays standards.

From the moment Anthonys first note leaves his mouth one becomes fascinated with Hydrosonic. With Anthony penning the lyrics, his musical intellect permits him to understand the importance of switching from melodic vocals to dramatic screams, in order to convey his message. However, with subject matters ranging from protecting a child from monsters in its closet, to dealing with suicide, along with the struggle of living up to others expectations, Anthonys delivery is impeccable. With having the instrumentals and vocals being particularly entrancing it makes it a challenge for one not to become hypnotized by their performance.

Most importantly, Hydrosonic is in the process of finishing up their brand new EP Pages, which will showcase the bands new sense of maturity, creativity, and ability. The EP will include the past favorite Picture Frame along with new material such as Drown Out, Feathers of Black and White, and Prototype A. Even though, their energy will be transmitted through the recordings, there is still nothing that measures up to to their live performances. With it being Anthonys dramatic flair or Jessies energetic presences, the bands chemistry is undeniable.

With every performance Hydrosonic not only matures personally, musically, but professionally that generates an ever-growing fan base. With having their catchy lyrics stapled in the fans minds, one can only expect to see Hydrosonic to be at the forefront of tomorrows music industry.
