Biography:
Emerging from the burning wreckage of late 2004, Mike Flenniken and Nick Collins set out for something amazing: The creation of an acoustic duo that rivaled the potential and energy of any other band out there. Hospital Harbor's first release "hello shadow", was six songs of unique energy not commonly found in acoustic music. Not long after the release, The Daily Sentinel selected crowd favorite "Painted with Oil" for the upcoming Grand Valley Tracks 2. From there, it was unstoppable.
As weeks passed, Crowds grew larger, EPs disappeared from merch boxes, and their new found media attention was far from dissipating. On the wings of a very successful tour during summer of '05, the relentless support of fans everywhere, and a highly anticipated sophomore release, Hospital Harbor is a force to be reckoned with.
