HORROR OF 59

Founded by brothers Deke the Creep (drums) and M. Balmer (guitar), the original line-up of Horror of 59 was solidified in the summer of 2004 with the addition of Tommy Horror (bass) and Bob Noxious (vocals). This line-up of the band played its first gig in September of 2004 and released their debut CD 'Screams From the Cellar' on Cleveland's Sonic Swirl Records in October of 2005. Shortly thereafter the band parted ways with M. Balmer. Deke moved to bass, Tommy Horror moved to guitar, and new drummer Brent Bastard joined.
Although admittedly influenced by The Misfits, Horror of 59 also incorporates elements of 50's rock n roll, 60's garage rock, 70's punk, and even a little bit of metal into their sound. Currently the band is working on their second album and playing gigs both in Ohio and elsewhere.
