michael beard and jordan williams started hormones in early 2008. their dislike of capital letters, as well as the desire to tweak the definition of "rock music" led them to their musical partnership. while many labels exist to define music, hormones strive to make it more difficult for the listener to specifically classify them, while at the same time providing simple, melodic songs for people to "get down" to...whatever that definition may be. with influences ranging from helmet to pedro the lion (and the oft-enjoyable late night plays of wu-tang clan) hormones wants their music to ultimately have a lasting impact on the listener, so that, love them or hate them, you will always remember hormones.
