......About Hometown Anthem:After less than two years together, Hometown Anthem has already made its mark on the underground music scene. A relentless touring schedule has earned the band a reputation as one of the most powerful acts
performing today. With the release of their debut full-length Dont Hold On To What You Hear (Emerald Moon Records, 2005) and its follow-up ep If We Could Dream (EMR, 2006), this six-piece from New Jersey has begun its steady climb to the top. Hometown Anthems blend of aggressive punk and irresistible pop hooks, together with its dynamic stage show earned them a slot on the 2006 Warped Tour. It was on the strength of those performances that the band was chosen over 12,000 other bands for inclusion on the Ernie Ball compilation cd 13 Of The Best Unsigned Bands In North America (Warcon Records, 2006).

On the night of the 24th will be the CD release for our new EP ",If we Could Dream" and we are trying to use this event to help out a family who is in need of financial support due to their daughter's health. A while back the Pullins family discovered a tumor in the brain of their twelve year old daughter Jenna that was compromising her health greatly. After the arduous process of surgery, waiting, and a little bit of recovery Jenna is doing much better at this point in time. It is now a matter of time to see how everything pans out with her recovery, but sadly medical insurance doesn't always cover treatment and the family is now left to pay for a great deal of Jenna's medicines and surgery.
Now we know Jenna just about as personally as most of you know us. We met her mom through one of our friends, and when her mom had mentioned this story we realized that we did have this event coming up and maybe collectively we could make a difference. As a group we feel that the ball is in our court and this is our chance to help someone in need by doing what we love, so here is what we will be doing guys.
We will be donating a portion of our merch sales and running a raffle for the night whereby kids will get a ticket for a dollar and if they win at the end of the night they will win one of each item off of our table and the family will get all the raffle money on top of whatever we can do in merch. We are also happy to say both bands The Bankrobbers and Inamere have agreed to help out and are also donating some merch to our raffle as well, so a big kudos for them for just being awesome guys. We're really trying to make this event as successful as possible and would appreciate it if everyone could come out and help us in our endeavor.
The show will be at The School of Rock in South Hackensack, NJ on September 24th. The lineup will consist of Anberlin, The Bankrobbers, Inamere, one special guest, and us of course, so make sure to come out and get ready for one crazy night.
