First of all, the band's name is NOT "Holdings" Whispers, it's "Holding" Whispers.....we don't know where the extra "s" came from....just ignore it!
Holding Whispers is a lyrically based band out of Carrollton, Georgia. We credit most of our inspiration to the great rock bands of the 90s. We fuse the lyrical style of the increasingly popular emo genre with the sound of the alternative/post-grunge era. Our style ranges from slow, acoustic songs to heavier power ballads.
About the Demo:
We recorded this in early 2004. We just wanted to record some of our new material, so we could hear it. It's rough at parts, but you get the idea.
About Acoustic Beach:
This is our first full-length album. We recorded it acoustically and without studio enhancements to give it the raw, live sound.
