Hindge is the onemansoundandfury solo project of the drummer for 3 o'clock sandbox and envy. Stepping out from behind the drum set, with banjo in hand, Todd Nickelsen weaves stories and tales that have earned him the title of being Athen's Ga's Folkcore Specialist.

The newest album, The Whiskey Storybook Collection, (which will be released this fall) captures the stories of the poor, the voiceless, and the mistreated. The songs invoke images of dilapidated porches with whiskey jugs strewn about as Pappy spins his yarn of garbled fact and fiction. If youve never visited the Dirty South then hindges songs will certainly transport you there. While there, you will begin to appreciate the beauty and complexity that comprises the culture of a land where religion, poverty, and booze are one in the same.
