The planet Venus (named for the goddess of love) when it is viewed as the evening star is given the name Hesperus. As the morning star Venus is called Lucifer. It is this kind of dichotomy that Hesperus celebrates with their music.
 In its 4 year history Hesperus has emerged out of Buffalo NY as a truly original and intense force. Inspired by such ground-breaking artists as Led Zeppelin and Radiohead. The band's all original music is also laced with elements of U2 and The Doors. Although primarily a modern rock band, Their music stylistically ranges from East Indian to Latin to electronic and classical.  It is this diversity that makes Hesperus unforgettably intense to experience live.
