Originating in the eastern suburbs of Victoria, Australian band Her Tortured Embrace are pushing the boundaries of the progressive vein of melodic metal. Fusing the musicianship and intricacy of progressive music with equal parts ambient melody and brutal metal riffs, Her Tortured Embrace are attempting to create their own sound and genre with ingenuity and a heart, soul and honesty that many bands seem to lack in the current musical climate.

With their sophomore EP, 'A Car Crash Fascination' - a 33 minute track of epic proportions - in the process of being produced, and new material currently being crafted meticulously, Her Tortured Embrace are ready to rock the Australian music scene with a thrilling live set and a fresh take on metal.
