Dear Readers,
Thanks to all of our friends and fans who helped make our April tour an unforgettable experience! Every floor, couch and futon was deeply appreciated. And to those who fed us, you shouldn't have! (but we're glad you did.)
Along the way, we dodged traffic jams AND tornadoes, ate at as many Waffle Houses as we could, and saw more of the US than we ever had before. All from the comfort of our 1989 Dodge Ram 15 passenger. No breakdowns whatsoever! God be praised!
And somehow Hero Pattern managed to avoid a visit to the ER. Which is significant, because between poisonous caterpillars, twisted ankles, and ulcerated eyeballs, every other band on the tour got a taste of regional emergency care across the country.
Every band on the tour was outstanding - as people AND performers. River City High, Jet Lag Gemini and National Fire Theory. Check these guys out!
We kept each other on our toes every night. Roofs were torn. Socks were rocked. With all we learned, we are now TWICE the band we were when the tour began. It's a mathematical FACT. And i think that anyone who was at either of our homecoming shows at the Knitting Factory and Maxwells noticed the difference.
So now it's back to the doldrums of everyday life for a hot minute, but rest assured, we're working on big things for the summer and beyond.
Keep in touch and KEEP TELLING YOUR FRIENDS ABOUT HERO PATTERN! We'll see you at the shows.
most sincerely,
jason

Hey everyone -
We'd like to begin by thanking the PureVolume Gods for shining upon us with a Pure Pick. Someone sent me a text message in the early morning hours with the good news.
So if you're just joining us here at Hero Pattern central, welcome. We've been waiting for you.
Three of the songs on our page are from our self-released disc, The Deception EP, and one song - Monster - is taken from our Japanese-only full-length So Long To Everything You Knew. Enjoy.
We're planning to be in full attack-mode in '07, and while we only have one show on our calendar, our touring schedule is going to be more ambitious than ever. Just you wait.
But speaking of that one show, it's going to be amazing, and here are the details:
HERO PATTERN
friday, 1/12/07
Maxwells
Hoboken, NJ
all-ages
doors: 8pm
set time: 11:30 pm
(check maxwellsnj.com for directions)
Maxwell's is our favorite venue in our home state. If you're in the area and you haven't been there, you owe it to yourself to come out. It's also a great place to eat.
Thanks for visiting. Please keep in touch, leave a comment, send an e-mail, joing the list, come to a show, tell your friends.
most sincerely,
jason - vocals/guitar
