Hello Eden
is a New Jersey based rock band that began in 2003 when local guitar legend Derrick K. and similarly renowned drummer Eric teamed up after their former group disbanded. Having played together for a few years, the two had already developed an uncanny musical connection, so they set out to find like-minded artists.
Hello Eden was then introduced to vocalist Sal Marrano in late 2003. Sal's powerful, yet gentle, rock voice and prose lend irreplaceable definition and imagery to the progressive, experimental, and "classic" rock and roll sound of Hello Eden. As such, Sal was an instant addition to the band.
Finally, having tapped New Jersey's resources for dedicated bass players, Derrick called his good friend Billy Uptown, whose edge, energy, and solid bass lines completed the sound. By fall 2004, the band was officially formed.
Hello Eden has since generated local success in New Jersey, and expanded, with similar achievement, to New York City, and Philadelphia. Moreover, they have just released their 3rd self-produced recording called Not Human. Its a powerhouse of a record that has made it to college radio, and is making huge waves locally, and on the internet.
These boys are spearheading a rock and roll revival.
