Helia project starts in the summer of 2007 from the passion for new and sperimental sounds of Jackie (member of Violent Sutura, ex On Fall), RaeL (ex singer of the underground screamo band I m not myself today), Commo (ex guitarist of Ibelievein) and Dano (In Deepest Decline s ex bass player). The first Helia s release Delorean is an EP that takes inspiration from trance music and screamo hc. Memory Flash, the first single uploaded on MySpace has a great success with more than 60 000 plays. In February 2008 Ricky joined Helia on drums. With this line up the band plays live around Italy in the Summer '08 and has a great success. In August '08 the band enter in studio in Rome to record 2 new tracks, "Straight To North East Lights" and "Push it!" (feat. Becko from Hopes Die Last). NEW SONGS.

Hi everybody! An year after our first work "Delorean" and our first hit "Memory Flash" we are here again to introduce you 2 new songs.We have had some problems in the past months..but..here we are,finally! We have worked hard on these new tracks..and they mean a lot to us.We hope you're gonna like them as you liked the old stuff.Let us know what you think about the new songs..your opinions are the most important thing. We wanna thanx every single one of you who came at our shows and who bought our cd.A special thanx goes to Becko from Hopes Die Last for the featuring in "Push it!" and a very special thanx to Marco and Sick Boy Studio. Thanx to: 24/7 Deadline (you are the men!), Hack (noizeconcept), Davey (Doomsday), Steve (Eclipse), Salvo (thx for the pics!) and all the bands we have played with (Your Hero, Keep Clean, Adam Kills Eve...). That's all. We're ready to start again. THANK YOU. [ITA] Ciao a tutti, dopo un anno preciso dall'uscita del primo singolo, "Memory Flash", vogliamo presentarvi 2 nuove canzoni! Sono il frutto di molto lavoro e tantissimi sbattimenti...ma alla fine c'è l'abbiamo fatta! Speriamo con questi pezzi di ripetere il successo che abbiamo avuto in questo anno, nel quale ci sono stati molti cambiamenti ma nel quale abbiamo raccolto tante soddisfazioni. Un ringraziamento speciale va a Becko (per il feat. nel ritornello di PUSH IT!) e Marco degli Hopes Die Last per l'appoggio e l'aiuto. A chi ci ha aiutato come i ragazzi dei 24/7 Deadline che ci hanno ospitato in fase di registrazione a Roma.
