Waiting on the Breeze ep

The concept behind this new EP "Waiting on the Breeze," is simply that...waiting on the breeze. This idea was inspired by a movie I used to watch when I was little called, "Good Ol' Boys." It is a story by author Willie Morris. There has been a remake with Frankie Muniz called "My Dog Skip." While it had the budget to be great...it failed to compare with the low-budget "Good Ol' Boys." But I digress. In the movie, Willie (the main character...yes it is a semi autobiography) goes over to his crazy aunt's house. She is sitting on the porch with her brother, Percy, and they are talking and just waiting on a breeze to come in. They are taking time to enjoy little things in life--such as the breeze. That's the point. I am not going to live simply for tomorrow anymore. I will not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Yea...Biblical. I have resolved to not really care what people think about my music...they can take it for what it is. I am simply using it to put my thoughts to a tune--my heart to a melody. I am writing for the one who created me to write and I am singing from my heart. I am just waiting on the breeze.
