Founded by frontman on hiatus now residing somewhere in the Omani desert, Azren Taib and drummer Izad Majid in 1993. Formerly known as LoKo, hailed as a true metal band in Brunei influenced by the likes of Metallica, Slayer,Chimaira, Inflames, Hate Eternal, Fear Factory and Machine Head. In 1999, the band was resurrected under the name of HATE or the symbolic [H8] and released their self-titled debut album in 2002. The band is in their final moments of completing the long awaited second album.
