The unique style that Guitar Zack & No Slack puts out is one of definate originality as well as creativity. GZNS, led by lead guitarist Zack Wiesinger, winner of the 2005 Albert King Award, is far from your typical "blues band." They have taken "unclassifiable" music and turned it into something never seen before, a style they call, "Circus Breed." From driving rock riffs to funky blues licks to laid back surf grooves to weird Frank Zappa-ish leads, "Circus Breed" is the most fitting description. GZNS has been featured on the DVE Morning Show on two different accounts: one from the studio, and one live from the Sprindale Firehall for the DVE Morning Show World Tour.
