alright people. this is GOLDEN TOP-HAT CHI aka THE CHI! we are a 3 piece band now, and we are from Jeffersonville and Clarksville Indiana. we play rock, punk, a little emo here and there, metal, industrial, classic rock, show stopping numbers, freestyle, raps (that don't make any sense), and some other types of music. we are currently trying to master our first REAL album titled: THE GOLDEN YEARS. i have no idea when the hell it will be released to the public. hopefully soon. one thing that sucks-we are not signed! if there are any record companies out there who like are stuff, we'ed appreciate it if you'd e-mail us at "gtcxgovernsx@yahoo.com". now the story of how GTC or GOLDEN TOP-HAT CHI was born.

a long time ago, far far close, at a middle school called RIVER VALLEY MIDDLE SCHOOL, a band by the name of GTC or GOLDEN TOP-HAT CHI was formed. in seventh grade (2003), chris doty and cliffy madden formed a band. a band that rocked so hard, it would make your teeth bleed and your heart implode. these boys had a mission, to one day record awesome, 70 minute long cd's, which would include, covers, freestyles, rap songs, fast punk jams, and sucky guitar solos. these boys were successful, and now in 2006, are still creating musical fusion. and that is the story of the band they call GTC!
