gt_for_music started as an amateur teen nu-metal band in 2006 in Athens. It consists of six teenagers playing the piano (gt), guitars (Natie, Chris), bass (Billo), synthesizer (Deo) and drums (Vass). The band became locally famous within some months.

gt_for_music's sound is a fusion of metal, gothic, alternative and industrial music. The band's songs contain heavy guitars, dark piano, strings and breath-taking choir parts as well as fake drums and synthesizer sounds.
